What happened on 10th November 2001 ----------------------------------- The team moved from Albania's capital Tirane to the northalbanian town Shkodra. There, they accommodated themselves at the Salesian cloister. In the morning, Mrs. Pavelkova, mother of two of the missing students, visited the regional police director Mitro Korda. Mr. Korda informed her about the current results of the search. Apart from other things, he told that the missing students were seen between 14th - 15th September nearby the Ura e Shtrejte village. Then, the team was admitted by the bishop Mr. Angelo Massafra. Mrs. Pavelkova informed him about the search and asked for help and support. Mr. Massafra promised to address the Albanians of catholic belief with a request for help. In the afternoon, Mrs. Pavelkova visited the local representative of the Muslim church, hodja Mr. Fejze Zaganjali. Mr. Zaganjali promised to give a talk on the matter to local citizens of Muslim belief, especially in the mountain villages of the Dukagjin and Theth region, which he knows very well.
